This full off-grid capable Tiny House offers an efficient, light filled space that blends clean modern lines with a cozy connection to nature. Onboard rainwater collection and filtration means no need for a well or city water hookup, although a hose can supply water if desired. The collection system features an automatic fill and shutoff valve that detects the water tank level, as well as when it rains. This ensures a fresh supply of clean, temperature steady water that won’t overburden your filtration.
Water is collected in a hundred thirty gallon tank that features a floating intake for sediment and debris avoidance. Rainwater is run through a three stage (solids, charcoal, and UV) filter that supplies your instant hot water heater and taps. Power can be provided either on grid, or with solar panel setup. A power switch is already included for easy solar installation. A composting toilet, featuring a sealed fan vented chamber, liquid diverter, and soft close seat, ensures an odor free and environmentally friendly experience.
By using sawdust and biodegradable bags, you reduce dependency on cartridges and allow for a more complete off grid life. Heat is provided by a wood burning stove, and by the ample amount of light allowed in. Seven large opening windows (and a deciduous shade tree if possible) keep the house breezy and comfortable. Super insulated walls (5-½”), steel siding and roofing, double paned insulated windows, waterproof vinyl plank flooring, and a fully sealed wooden interior create a very durable and easy to maintain Tiny House. The kitchen has plenty of storage and counter space, and comes with a small refrigerator, recycling bin storage, a small stainless steel sink, and a four burner gas range with a filtered vented hood. The bathroom has 32”x32” shower with a rain head, a small sink, adjustable mirror, and the composting toilet, all tucked away behind a pocket door.
The living area features a large daybed sofa that has plenty of storage underneath it and enough room for lots of friends and family. Movable cushions create even more seating on the entry step that also hides extra storage. A side table holds the electrical and USB outlets, as well as the dimmable three-way light switches, and can be mounted with a larger table top to provide a great work surface, or a place to enjoy a meal. The patio door opens out to bridge the indoors to the environment, and let in even more light and view. A ladder is tucked away and easily folds out, allowing access to the loft bedroom. With room for a queen size mattress, and a large closet that can accommodate a very robust wardrobe, the loft allows you to fall asleep under the large skylight in comfort.
A nightstand contains the same outlets and switches as downstairs. If you are feeling adventurous, a provided custom cargo net can be hung and creates a large hammock that can easily support two adults.
The front stairs, a 20lb propane tank, drainage hose, bail of sawdust, biodegradable poo bags, 30amp to 15amp pigtail adaptor, grounding rod, smoke/CO2 detector, fire extinguisher, and hammock net are all included.
