We converted a 2003 Forest River Sandpiper that was originally a toy hauler trailer, into our Tiny Home. A ton of work was put into all aspects of the trailer and it is livable now. There are still some odds and ends to finish up, mostly trim work, etc. Otherwise, it's a great looking and useable home now.
The trailer was stripped down to the studs, the entire roof replaced as solid structure(no holes for a/c, vents, etc.), and the entire floor plan was changed to our design, including moving all water lines and electrical. Our original plan was to travel with it, but things have changed for us and we also realized the home is better parked more permanently versus being on the road.
