This cottage is on the market in Søndervig, a beach town on the west coast of Jutland (mainland Denmark). It is a stone’s throw from the North Sea, right behind the first row of coastal dunes.
The small house was built in 1937 with brick walls and a thatched roof. It might look like the sand dune has been slowly overtaking the cottage, but the dune was actually notched to provide a flat and stable building site.
