Custom Tiny House by Big Freedom Tiny Homes
After building and quickly selling his first tiny house in Seattle, Shannon Black immediately started another one. That one sold, followed by three more. With several successful builds completed, he decided to build full-time and started a business, Big Freedom Tiny Homes, in Bellingham, Washington.
Each tiny house is built on a 26′ Iron Eagle PAD series trailer and totals 300-square-feet between the main floor and lofts. Hardwood flooring is used throughout the main part of the house and tile is used in the bathroom.
The exterior is finished with Western Red Cedar siding and corrugated metal around the top, which matches the roof.
Inside, Shannon maximized the space in the kitchen and bathroom, plus he used high-end finishes throughout. The kitchen has 15′ of granite countertops, a beautiful quarry stone backsplash, and Frigidaire stainless appliances. A dining area accommodates two bar stools in front of a large picture window.
The master bedroom loft is 11′ deep and has a built-in closet. On the opposite end of the house is a 5′ deep loft that can be customized for storage or a guest bedroom.
The spacious 5’x8′ bathroom is lined with cedar and includes a 36″ shower, dual-flush toilet, 24″ vanity and washer/dryer hook-ups.
