This Woman Is the Queen of Decorating for Halloween

Halloween at Jennifer Perkins' Austin, Texas, home is quite the ordeal. For years, the blogger behind JenniferPerkins.com and online craft show host for the DIY Network and HGTV has loved decorating for the holiday and hosting elaborate celebrations. "I began throwing an annual Halloween party that started small and grew into something that was like hosting a wedding each year with well over 100 guests," she told CountryLiving.com.
The crafter and mother of two was inspired to turn Halloween into an extra-special event when her son was diagnosed with a peanut allergy. "I feel like it was an endless month of saying 'no you can't have that,'" she says. "That being said, I kinda started overcompensating, as moms tend to do, with my own extravagant, kitschy, colorful version of Halloween."
Now her home is known as the epicenter of the holiday with its bright, one-of-a-kind decorations including Halloween trees, collections of vintage masks and decor, and plenty of pieces supporting the Teal Pumpkin Project. "It's all Halloween all the time here from August through October," she said. Take a peak inside her festive home.
