Lovely and Happy Tiny Timber House on Wheels by Paul & Makenzie Benander
Paul & Makenzie Benander built their own tiny home over the course of two years and have now been living in it full-time for over three years. They built the house while living in New Hampshire and are now living in Wyoming. You can follow their journey on Instagram!
The Tiny Timber House is an 18ft long tiny home built on wheels. It is a self-build by a young couple looking for some financial freedom and flexibility. The house is timber-framed, using traditional mortise and tenon joinery, held together with wooden pegs. While not the typical construction method for tiny homes, the exposed beams add lots of warmth and character to this 200 square foot home.

Double french doors let in lots of light and open into the ‘living room’ which features full-height ceilings. The kitchen occupies the middle of the house and includes a 20inch range and stove, a mini fridge, cabinet storage, and lots of counter space. In the back of the house is a 4 x 8ft bathroom with a composting toilet and galvanized stock tank tub and shower. The sleeping loft fits a full-size bed, clothes storage, and features two large dormers that let in the light and create more headroom.

If you have any questions about the build, you can contact Paul & Makenzie through their Instagram account.
