This log lodge has been lovingly crafted by the owners from locally sourced natural materials and the finished property is completely authentic with stunning attention to detail creating a warm and ambient atmosphere. The lodge has been furnished and equipped to a high standard including the unique handcrafted beds in spacious bedrooms, each with a small balcony where you can look out over the surrounding woodland to watch the red squirrels and deer which frequent the garden areas.
The property is only 8 miles from the centre of the capital where you will find a large variety of shops, bars and great places to eat along with theatre, cinemas and leisure facilities. Located beside the historic Culloden Battlefield and near to the Clava Cairns, White Stag Lodge makes a perfect and central base for exploring this scenic part of northern Scotland. The Highlands is a beautiful area with a fascinating history, ancient landscapes and a long list of things to see and do for all ages. Take a trip to Loch Ness where you can enjoy a boat ride and hopefully catch sight of Nessie, or travel down the Moray coastline dotted with fishing villages and unspoilt beaches.
