Ruby is a new (2016) retro camper available to rent on site. She quaintly exists with the Olivers on their property located in the Schertz/Cibolo/Randolph Air Force Base area. She boasts of chickens in her backyard and Crescent Bend Nature Park as her front yard.
Nature walks begin right outside Ruby’s doorstep, and for our fellow cycling friends there is an array of country road routes beginning on location! Fishing is less than ½ mile walk away in the Cibolo Creek. Historic downtown Cibolo is 2 miles away with offerings such as Emily’s Coffee Place, Harmon’s BBQ, Catalano’s Pizzeria, Old Main Icehouse (which has an array of food trucks and live music), 1908 Wine Bar and The Mill Boutique which features art classes, the work of local artists and the Scoop at the Mill…. homemade ice cream from Fredericksburg, Texas! And although I hate to include in the paragraph with these local favs… it is SO convenient….Wal Mart is 3 miles away! We oftentimes ride our bikes to all!
