**FAQs**
Does the house come with X,Y,Z? It comes with all appliances, furniture, dΓ©cor, tanks, power cords, hoses, etc. Everything you see can be yours. It is MOVE-IN READY.
Is it still for sale? If the ad is still up, then YES it is still for sale.
Can you post more pictures? I've posted a bunch of pictures with many descriptions. It is the most complete collection I can provide. If there is something specifically you need to see and cannot be Google'd (like appliances), then by all means, contact me.
Why are you selling? This house was built for two people and now with only one person, it is just too big! As one who has lived tiny for 4+ years, I'm ready to downsize even further so I am going tinier. It is still my dream home and I wouldn't change the design or layout at all.
Is it fully solar powered? Yes. The whole house can run off of solar. Even the mini-split AC during the day (additional battery, grid, or generator may be needed at night if the batteries aren't fully charged before sundown). With a panel array of 2000 watts, the rate limiting factor is the battery bank. At 480 aH battery backup on AGMs, if I were keeping the house I might consider replacing the (fully functional) AGMs with lithium phosphates at some point for an upgrade. The off-grid components are in the gooseneck "shed" and there is a monitor inside near the front door for easy access.
What if there isn't enough rain for the catchment system? There are three ways to get water in this house: 1) Completely off grid rainwater catchment. 2) Attaching a water hose to the bottom of the exterior downspout diverter of the catchment system and filling the 110 gallon freshwater tank. 3) Standard RV hookup of grid water for direct use.
I thought the kitchen and the bathroom had to be near each other in a tiny house, right? NO. I designed it so that those are at the opposite ends of the house. A lot of time and design went into the weight distribution and plumbing aspects by doing this. In doing so, there are 2 graywater tanks trailer mounted with one on each side of the axles.
Do you like your W/D ventless combo? Yes, it's great. It's a learning curve to use it but once you figure it out, it's really easy and effective. It takes about 4.5 hours to wash and dry total.
Could I replace the composting toilet if I choose? Of course-- it would be your house. Though I highly recommend the Nature's Head and I won't use anything else, that's an easy swap to make. Everything is already in place for another composting or an Incinolet (though I'd recommend grid power for that one). You would have to plumb it for a flush toilet.
