This tiny house was thoughtfully handcrafted by a Vermont contractor in 2016. Married couple has lived in it for about 18 months. Perfect for single person or couple.
Bathroom: Includes shower, composting toilet, sink, and on-demand water heater. Bathroom has sliding style barn door. Loft above the bathroom is great for storage and there is room for someone (not too tall) to sit up there. Ladder access to storage loft.
Living area includes a storage bench that folds out into a full size bed for guests.
Bedroom is lofted and accessible by stairs (our dog can climb the stairs!). Sky light and another small window in loft, both open. Fits queen sized mattress.
Kitchen comes with ¾ sized refrigerator and stove with oven and 4 burners, large sink, cabinets, and coat closet.
Hot water heater, stove, and heater all use propane. House also features a small external storage space, perfect for skis, winter jackets , etc. Lights run on electric and could be set up for solar in the future. In our experience electric costs less than $20 in summer and about $35 in winter. Home is well insulated with spray foam insulation and propane heater gets it plenty warm in winter.
House in in great shape, and current owners would be happy to walk you through the process of securing a loan and insurance (how we figured it out in Vermont).
New owner would be responsible for towing the tiny house from it’s current site. It was built on a trailed and designed to transport fairly easily. A large pick-up truck did the job for us!
