The Cabana House Truck is a beautifully converted 1991 diesel Ford F-350 box truck. Many of the pulls are hand carved animals from South America. The floor is wonderfully dark oak. The built in furniture is pine. There is too much to describe. It's currently registered as an RV in Oregon.
The RV sleeps 5, has a 4-burner propane stove and space for a 3/4 sized refrigerator, or a small refrigerator and a hot water heater. It has a standard shower and a toilet, with 20 gallons of clean water storage under the truck and 10 gallons of blackwater storage.
We've had the Cabana for a year. Over the course of that year we've put in new shocks, new batteries, replaced the fuel pump, and had the fuel injectors cleaned. This truck is FUN to drive and runs like a dream.
Our current project in the Cabana is updating the plumbing. We've removed the refrigerator to make all the plumbing accessible. Even without the refrigerator, though, we've been ok in the Cabana.
We showed it in the DIY lot at TinyFest Northwest this year. It was a blast! A great experience, that we highly recommend.
But I got into grad school, so we're looking to sell the beautiful Cabana. Make us an offer we can't refuse!
