Completed in February 2017. We have lived in it for a year and a job relocation has changed our lives, so we need to sell our fabulous tiny house.
The kitchen includes a 4 burner propane cooktop, concrete countertop and custom inset butcher block, large stainless steel sink and Kohler polished nickel faucet, custom cabinetry to maximize storage below the counter and the stairs. A Haier stainless steel and black refrigerator freezer fits conveniently under the master loft providing sufficient storage.
The flooring is Cali Bamboo Bamboo flooring in a light gray (vintage moonlight) solid woven pattern, this hardwood will withstand years of use and includes a 50 year residential warranty. The bathroom flooring is light gray tile. Pallet board end walls in the upper lofts add style and character. Other walls are white Wainscot a great choice for a home that will be pulled behind a truck to various locations. Our walls did well (no cracks) in the move from Washington to Arizona. The builder told us he secured the walls in all directions with tension straps to make sure that this tiny house was ready for travel!
A comfortable L shaped couch awaits you in the sitting area, where you can enjoy the wall mounted Samsung Smart TV. Cat6 is wired into the home to provide you with high speed internet options to enjoy Netflix, Hulu, etc. The power outlets in the sitting area and in the master loft include direct USB power ports.
Here are some additional notes from the builder:
There is no T1-11 or pressed board in this house.
Everything is high-end materials. The house is 24 ft long with extended lofts making it 28ft long on top.
The exterior is high grade metal siding and cedar T&G, and metal roof.
It is built on a custom 24ft, 14,000 lbs capacity double axle trailer.
The electrical has a 50amp panel and exterior 50 amp RV plug to connect it to temporary power on a piece of property or RV hook up.
It also has 2 electric 120v 1000w cadet heaters that keep the house plenty warm while using low power. By using low watt heaters and a 50 amp panel, it makes it very easy to convert to solar panels. There are no 240v outlets in the house as to not need a massive solar array to power the house. Almost every light in the house is LED.
It has a real working plumbed toilet but could easily switched out for a composting toilet without affecting the existing plumbing. The bathroom has a large sink, well lit vanity and a 29 inch shower. The bathroom is has a sliding barn door.
The stove top is propane as to not use power as well. I have two 30lbs propane tanks in the front trailer box to heat all the water and operate the cook top.
The kitchen contains an on demand tankless, propane water heater with a double vent. It has a vent pipe within a vent pipe. Its completely sealed off from your house. It pulls its own air from the outside as well as venting to the outside.
Also, the only window on that side is a sealed milgard window. All the large window in that house are Milgard. I literally have 4 cases of silicon on the exterior of this house. Its behind and in front of every seam and joint. I have 3 different types of flashing at the point where the roof meets the top of the siding, over windows, and the door.
