Professionally built in 2016 by Mint Tiny homes, this house is 28ft. long x 8.5ft. wide x 13.5 ft. tall, built with aluminum framing and two lofts. The Aluminum Frame allows the house to be 2 thousand pounds lighter and better insulated than wood. The aluminum frame also keeps the house from shifting at all when being towed as it is stronger and more stiff than wood. We towed this house from the northwest to the southeast without any problems. The aluminum framing allows this house to be towed as if it was a much smaller house. The house is permanently connected to a triple-axle trailer. There are two built-in wall heaters and an A/C unit. The roof is metal.
*Inside the house you'll find many "normal home" features most would not expect; shiplap walls, cross-sectional exposed wooden beams, recessed canned ceiling lights (LED), and large windows for LOT of natural light. Dark wood laminate floors throughout. We use the extra loft for storage but could easily be a second bedroom.
*Kitchen has a full-sized gas stove and oven hood, ceramic double sink, apartment-size fridge, and soft-close storage cabinets throughout (plus under the stairs) .
*Bathroom is separated by a pocket door and features a stand-up shower stall, regular-flushing toilet, and stackable washer/dryer.
* We have added a few of our own touches to the house: Folding kitchen table, shelving, custom blinds, futon couch, a projector screen, sound bar with subwoofer and storage pieces.
