We are selling our tiny home. We have moved to Oak Harbor, WA from Athol, ID for work and housing is provided. Therefore, we no longer need it. We custom-built this home at 34'x8.5'x13.5'. The interior walls are 7.5"x12' blue pine shiplap that we milled from logs. The flooring in the living room and kitchen are hickory hardwood. The ceiling is 10' 6" on the high side and 10' 1" on the low side giving the house a spacious feeling.
The kitchen has a Samsung 5 burner stove top gas range with convection oven, next to a 5' counter space. There is room for a 36" wide fridge and there is a full size sink. There is also room for a bar. We intended to build a bar on wheels to fill the space in the kitchen. It would lower and have leaves that open to provide a large table for games and large dining area for the living room.
The bathroom is our favorite room in the house. It is all tongue and groove cedar. It smells so good! Especially when you take a steamy shower under one of the two shower heads or relaxing in the HUGE jetted tub, which comfortably fits two. I am 6' tall and I can have my legs completely straight and the water comes up to my chest. The bathroom has a full size toilet and a 36" wide vanity. There is also custom storage in the ceiling. The pocket door is custom made. It has cedar on the bathroom side and blue pine on the kitchen side to match both areas. The bathroom flooring is vinyl tile.
The living room has custom seating with drawers (needs cushions). There are two huge windows. The front window is 7' tall by 6' wide. The back window is 5.5'x5.5'. The utility/laundry room is in the living room. It can easily be hidden by a curtain. There is a Tekagi tankless propane water heater that is overkill. You can run all faucets and shower heads without losing heat.
There are two lofts in the house. One is above the utility room. It is 4' deep. It makes a fun area for games, reading, hanging a hammock and a guest bedroom. It can also act as a landing pad if you put a zip line from the bedroom loft. :) The living room loft has a 4'x5' picture window giving you an amazing view to the outdoors. The bedroom loft is 10' deep with plenty of space for a closet, queen size bed (pictured but not included), night stands, and a bookshelf. There are two 1'x4' windows that give a nice breeze in the summer and help regulate the heat from the wood stove in the winter.
The outside is galvanized corrugated metal with tongue and groove cedar.
The plumbing is Pex pipe.
Insulation: Walls R15, floor R30, ceiling R21.
We have an A/C and heating unit that we have not installed yet but is included in the price.
What still needs to be done: trim (we have some of it), cabinets (the ones that are there are Huntwood and just need to be refinished and a new counter top), range hood installed (we have everything that is needed to install it), wood stove area finished, and small wall in fridge space finished.
All the materials that we have for it to be complete are included in the price.
The porch is included as well. It was built to be disassembled and loaded into the bed of a truck for easy hauling.
We plan on moving it to Oak Harbor when the snow melts to finish it if it doesn't sell first.
